I created my Monki page for dual purposes. First off, I am turning into a magazine collector, and I don't want to become one of those old ladies (years down the road) who has piles of dogeared magazines lying around. I'm working on saving the recipes I've flagged in my Monki recipe book. Then I'm donating the old magazines. One pile down so far. Phew! Hard work! Second, one of my sisters is gluten intolerant and allergic to preservatives. Even though we live miles apart, we like to share recipes. So, we are sharing via Kitchen Monki and tweaking our favorite recipes to make them suitable for her needs. A majority of my recipes will remain private until we are finished tweaking them. (Those that I don't plan on tweaking will be made public right away.) We are off and running, but we have quite a bit of ground to cover.
