Amaretto Shrimp (or Scallops)

Amaretto Shrimp (or Scallops)

  • 3 tablespoons Unsalted Butter

Step 1

Melt the butter in a non-stick pan over medium to medium-high heat and cook until golden brown.


  • 12 medium Onion, chopped

Step 2

Add the onion and saute until they just start to brown.


  • 1 pound Raw Shrimp, peeled and deveined; or, if using scallops, rinsed, drained and patted dry with a paper towel.

Step 3

Add the shrimp or scallops and saute for 2-3 minutes or until just barely cooked through.


  • 12 cup Amaretto
  • 12 cup Sliced Almonds
  • 12 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • Black Pepper, to taste

Step 4

Add the amaretto, almonds and salt; saute for 2-3 minutes. Season to taste with black pepper and additional salt, if needed. Serve over plain rice or rice pilaf.
