A thick condiment or stuffing of Egyptian origin that can be used on crackers or as a poultry stuffing.

Directions

Ingredients

  • 23 cup Raw Whole Almonds, toasted and cooled
  • 23 cup Natural Pistachios, shelled, unsalted

Step 1

Pulse nuts in food processor until coarsely chopped.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Dried Apricot, prefer California, coarsely chopped
  • 23 cup Dried Whole Date, coarsely chopped

Step 2

Add dried fruit and pulse until chopped.

Ingredients

  • 12 cup Cream Sherry
  • 18 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Orange Zest
  • 14 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 14 teaspoon Ground Cardamom (Cardamon)

Step 3

Add Sherry, orange zest, and seasonings and pulse until incorporated.
