*Baked Butternut Squash

This is a great weight loss recipe to replace your typical butternut squash with brown sugar.



  • 1 Butternut Squash

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Cut the top off of the butternut squash. Quarter squash. Place squash, skin side down, in 9 X 13 dish. Add about a 1/2 inch of water into the baking dish.


  • 14 teaspoon Coconut Oil
  • pinch Sea Salt

Step 2

Spread coconut oil over the squash and sprinkle with sea salt. Bake for 30-40 minutes until desired tenderness or until a fork inserted comes in and out easily.


  • 2 tablespoons Agave Nectar
  • 18 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 12 cup Slivered Almonds

Step 3

Let squash cool. Scoop out flesh into a bowl. Add agave, cinnamon, and slivered almonds. Mix well. Serve.
