Directions

 

Step 1

Heat oven to 425*.
 

Step 2

Bring a lg. pot of salted water to a boil.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds Broccoli, (2-3 bunches)

Step 3

Quarter Broccoli Stalks lengthwise. Add to boiling water & simmer 3 min. Drain.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons Unsalted Butter

Step 4

In a med. pot, melt Butter over med.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons All-Purpose Flour

Step 5

Stir in Flour (in buttered pot) & cook 1 min.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Whole Milk

Step 6

Whisk in Milk. Bring to a simmer & cook 5 min.

Ingredients

  • 1 12 cups Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Black Pepper
  • 12 teaspoon Salt

Step 7

Remove floured-milk mixture from heat & stir in Parmesan, Pepper, & Salt.
 

Step 8

Transfer Broccoli to a 13x9-inch baking dish.
 

Step 9

Pour sauce on top & bake 15 min.
 

Step 10

Broil 2-3 min, until cheese sauce begins to brown.
