Buttermilk Pancakes

The best light and fluffy pancakes. Serve with real maple syrup.

Directions

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cake Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 3⁄4 teaspoon Baking Powder

Step 1

Sift together dry ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Butter, Melted

Step 2

Melt butter

Ingredients

  • 1 Egg, Beaten lightly
  • 1 cup Buttermilk

Step 3

Mix in liquid ingredients, including the melted butter.
 

Step 4

Spray skillet or griddle with cooking spray. Cook cakes on medium heat.
