Caesar Salad

  • 1 slice Whole-grain Bread
  • 2 teaspoons Clarified Butter
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced

Step 1

For croutons: Cut bread into small cubes. In a small skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté briefly to flavor the butter. Add bread and sauté, turning frequently, until crisp.


  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1 sheet Nori, toasted over a hot burner for 1-2 seconds on each side until it turns black to green (optional)
  • 14 teaspoon Celtic Sea Salt

Step 2

For dressing: Stir together garlic and oil in a large bowl. Add lemon juice and mustard and whisk with a fork. Crumble nori and mix into dressing. Add salt and whisk.


  • 1 head Romaine Lettuce, chopped
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper, to taste

Step 3

Toss dressing with lettuce. Add croutons and pepper to taste. Serves 2.
