Really, these taste amazing. If you (or a loved one) don't like brussel sprouts no way, no how - give these a try. TRUST ME. They're amazing.

Directions

Ingredients

  • 32 ounces Frozen Brussels Sprouts, (2 bags). If this is your first time, maybe start with just one bag.
  • Ground Black Pepper, fresh ground is better, but regular is fine.
  • Olive Oil

Step 1

Dump the frozen brussel sprouts into a glass or other non-disposable casserole dish (I use a 9 x 13 for this). Shake some olive oil over it, just enough to get it all wet, but not so much that they're swimming. Maybe 1/2 a cup. Then shake a lot of black pepper over it. Add a little more.
With your hands, mix it all together until the sprouts are covered. Spread out so that it's in a single layer.

Step 2

Bake at 400 until the brussel sprouts are no longer green at all, but totally shriveled and somewhere between black and brown. Usually this takes about an hour. If you check on them, give them a stir with a spatula to help them cook quicker, but it's not required. *Can cook at a lower temperature if needed, just cook longer.
