Caprese Burger

Caprese Burger

  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • 1 Tomato, sliced into 4 thick slices

Step 1

Whisk the balsamic vinegar, oil, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Pour over tomato slices to marinate.

Step 2

Preheat grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.


  • 1 13 pounds Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 tablespoon Tomato Paste
  • 14 cup Basil, chopped
  • 14 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 14 teaspoon Pepper

Step 3

Mix ground beef, tomato paste, basil, parmesan, garlic and pepper in a large bowl. Form beef mixture into 4 equal patties.


  • 4 ounces Mozzarella Cheese, sliced

Step 4

Cook on the preheated grill until the burgers are cooked to your desired doneness, about 5 minutes per side. Top each burger with mozzarella; allow to melt.


  • 4 Hamburger Buns, split

Step 5

Serve on hamburger buns with marinated tomato slices.
