Great as a side dish to grilled meat

Ingredients
Step 1
Wash, peel, cut carrots into thin slices. Steam or cook in slated water until just tender. Drain, set aside.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over low heat. Saute the onion and garlic until soft. Add tumeric, cumin, brown sugar, parsley, and lemon.

Step 3
Mix and pour over carrots. Set aside for at least an hour to allow flavors to blend.
