Cheater Cheater Chicken & Dumplings (modified)

  • 1 Rotisserie Chicken

Step 1

Strip the meat from the chicken. Save the carcass for making chicken stock.


  • Chicken Broth

Step 2

I almost always have chicken stock in the freezer. Thaw it and bring it to a boil.


  • Flour
  • 1 can Ready-to-Bake Biscuits
  • All Purpose Seasoning

Step 3

Sprinkle flour (thickening agent) on the cutting board and roll out the biscuits as thin as you'd like. Season with all-purpose seasoning. Cut into chunks and slide into the broth.


  • 1 can Evaporated Milk
  • 3 tablespoons Butter

Step 4

Add the evaporated milk and butter. Stir. Cook on medium to medium high (just under a boil) for about 15 minutes.

Step 5

Chop the chicken and add to the mixture so it has time to warm up.

Step 6

After enjoying, make chicken stock with the carcass.
