Cheddar Cheese Grits Casserole

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 F. Spray a 11x7 baking dish (or 10-inch pie dish) with cooking spray.


  • 4 cups Whole Milk

Step 2

Bring milk just to a boil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat.


  • 14 cup Unsalted Butter

Step 3

Add butter and stir until melted.


  • 1 cup Quick Grits, uncooked

Step 4

Gradually whisk in grits. Reduce heat, and simmer, whisking constantly, 5 to 7 minutes or until grits are done. Remove from heat.


  • 1 large Egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 12 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 cups Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese, 8 oz

Step 5

Stir in egg, salt, pepper and shredded cheddar cheese.


  • 14 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese

Step 6

Pour into a lightly greased 11 x 7-inch baking dish or pie dish. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.

Step 7

Bake, covered, at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes or until mixture is set. Serve immediately.
