Chicken And Wild Rice Soup

Directions

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Chicken Breast
  • 12 Onion, diced
  • 2 Carrots, diced
  • 2 Celery Stalks, diced
  • 2 teaspoons Minced Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 12 teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 6 cups Chicken Broth
  • 34 cup Wild Rice

Step 1

Add all ingredients into a crockpot.
 

Step 2

Cook on LOW for 4-6 hours or until chicken is cooked through. Rice should be done around the same time. Shred chicken then stir back into the soup and serve.
 

Step 3

If making for the freezer. Put all ingredients except the broth into a freezer bag then place in the freezer for up to a month. When ready to eat, put the frozen ingredients into the crock pot with broth and cook on LOW for 4-6 hours or until chicken is cooked through.
