Chicken Penne Florentine Bake

Delicious! Used frozen chicken breasts from Target that were garlic herb flavored.



  • 1 box Penne Pasta

Step 1

HEAT oven to 375ºF. COOK pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.


  • 4 tablespoons Bottled Italian Dressing, or vinigrette dressing
  • 1 pound Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast

Step 2

MEANWHILE heat dressing in large skillet on medium heat. Add chicken; cook and stir until evenly browned.


  • 2 cups Chicken Broth, fat free, reduced sodium
  • 4 ounces Cream Cheese, (1/2 to 3/4 of 8-oz. pkg.)
  • 1 package Spinach, 10 oz, chopped

Step 3

Add broth and cream cheese; cook until cream cheese is melted, stirring frequently. Stir in spinach.


  • 1 bag Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 4 tablespoons Grated Parmesan Cheese

Step 4

DRAIN pasta. Add to chicken mixture; mix lightly. Spoon half into casserole sprayed with cooking spray; top with 1/2 bag mozzarella. Repeat layers; sprinkle with Parmesan.

Step 5

BAKE 16 to 18 min. or until mozzarella is melted and casserole is heated through.
