Chili Garlic Beef With Asparagus

  • 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Lemon Juice
  • 1 tablespoon Chili Garlic Sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Rice Vinegar or White Wine Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 14 cup Hoisin Sauce

Step 1

Whisk together hoisin sauce, soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, lemon juice, rice vinegar, and brown sugar. Set aside.


  • 2 teaspoons Olive Oil
  • 1 pound Flank Steak, cut into bite size pieces for stir fry
  • 1 pound Asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • Roasted, Unsalted Cashews
  • Cooked Brown Rice
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic

Step 2

Heat olive oil in wok. Add steak and garlic, cook 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Remove meat with slotted spoon. Add asparagus to pan, cook 2-3 minutes until crisp tender. Return meat to pan, add sauce and toss to coat. Stir in nuts, and cook 1 minute more. Serve with rice.
