Much simpler than sauces, these delicious toppings are terrific on grilled meats, veggies, and more. Flavored butters go together in a flash and can be stored in the freezer for up to a month. Keep one - or several- on hand for a weeknight meal or an impromptu gathering around the grill. Simply slice off a pat, and place on a warm entree or side.

Directions

Ingredients

  • 12 cup Butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Cilantro, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Grated Lime Rind
  • 1 Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice

Step 1

Stir together all ingredients. Place mixture on a large piece of parchment or wax paper. Bring 1 side of paper over mixture hold down bottom piece of paper. Place flat edge of a baking sheet or other sturdy, flat object on top of paper next to butter. Push baking sheet away from you into base of butter mixture, forming a log.

Step 2

Chill at least 4 hours

Step 3

TO FREEZE: Place log in a zip top plastic freezer bag; freeze up to 1 month.
