Cilantro Rice

  • 3 12 cups Fresh Cilantro
  • 3 cloves Minced Garlic
  • 1 Serrano Pepper, halved and seeded

Step 1

Combine cilantro, chile, garlic and 2 cups broth in blender and proces until smooth.


  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 12 cup Yellow Onion, minced
  • 2 cups Long Grain White Rice
  • 3 13 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 tablespoon Kosher Salt

Step 2

Hest oil in large frying pan until it shimmers, add onion cook until tender. Add rice and salt stir to coat in oil and cook until rice is opaque. carefully add cilantro mixture and remaining broth, stir to combine.Bring to a boil then reduce to low so rice is at a simmer. Cover and cook until rice is tender, about 15 minutes. turn off heat and let rice rest 5 minutes.
