Corn Chowder

Corn Chowder

  • 2 cups Potato, peeled & cubed
  • 12 cup Onion, chopped
  • 12 cup Celery, finely chopped

Step 1

Combine potatoes, onion and celery in large saucepan. Add enough water to cover vegetables. Simmer for 20 minutes or until tender; drain. Return vegetables to saucepan.


  • 8 ounces Cream Style Corn
  • 15 ounces Whole Kernel Corn, drained

Step 2

Partially mash the potatoes with a fork. Add both corns. Bring mixture to a simmer.


  • 12 ounces Evaporated Milk
  • Ham Steak, cooked and cubed

Step 3

Add evaporated milk and ham; mix well. Simmer for 5 minutes.


  • 18 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 14 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 slices Bacon, fried & crumbled

Step 4

Add cayenne pepper and salt to mixture. Ladle chowder into soup bowls. Top with crumbled bacon.
