Creamy Lentil Soup

  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 large Chopped Onion

Step 1

Melt butter in med skillet on med heat. Add onions cook 8 minutes or until tender, stirring frequently. Add to slow cooker.


  • 1 quart Water
  • 13 cup Bottled Asian Toasted Sesame Dressing
  • 1 pound Dried Lentils, rinsed
  • 6 ounces Tomato Paste
  • 29 ounces Chicken Broth
  • 12 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 14 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper

Step 2

Stir in remaining ingredients except cream cheese; cover and cook on low 7-8 hours (high 3-4 hrs) or until lentils are soft.


  • 4 ounces Cream Cheese, cubed, softened

Step 3

Add cream cheese; whisk until cream cheese is completely melted and soup is well blended.
