My Mom's recipe for Creme de Menthe Pie (aka Grasshopper Pie). Very quick and easy to prepare but does require time to freeze.

Directions

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Oreo Cookies, crushed
  • 14 cup Butter, melted

Step 1

Combine the Oreo cookie crumbs and butter. Mix until crumbs are evenly coated with the butter. Remove and reserve 1/2 cup of the crumbs for topping.
 

Step 2

Pour remaining mixture into a 9-inch pie plate. Press into bottom and up the sides to form a crust. Place into freezer and chill completely.

Ingredients

  • 14 cup Creme de Menthe
  • 7 ounces Marshmallow Creme

Step 3

Combine the Creme de Menthe and marshmallow creme in a bowl. Stir until blended.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Heavy Whipping Cream, whipped

Step 4

Fold in the whipped heavy cream.
 

Step 5

Pour Creme de Menthe mixture into chilled cookie crust.
 

Step 6

Place pie into freezer and freeze for several hours until firm.
 

Step 7

Sprinkle with reserved cookie crumbs and serve frozen.
