Simple and a kid favorite.
Directions |
Ingredients
Step 1
Mix baking soda into buttermilk. Mixture will foam. Set aside

Ingredients
Step 2
Cream together following ingredients. This will result in a dry crumble mix.

Step 3
Set aside 1 cup of the dry crumble mix.

Ingredients
Step 4
Into remaining crumble, mix in 2 eggs and the buttermilk and baking soda mixture. Mix well but do not over beat.

Step 5
Spread batter in greased 13x9 pan. Sprinkle on top the 1 cup of crumble that was previously set aside. Shake to even out crumble topping.

Step 6
Bake at 350-degrees 35-40 minutes. Test with toothpick for doneness.
