Delightful Nachos

  • 1 cup Canned Low-Fat Black Beans, The Bottom Layer (Creamy Bean Stuff):
  • 13 cup Low-fat sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons Salsa
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 Chicken Breast, diced

Step 1

Combine all ingredients for bottom layer in a medium bowl. Spread evenly over the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate.


  • 12 cup Avocado, Peeled and cut, The Second Layer (Guiltless Guacamole):
  • 14 cup Reduced Fat Sour Cream
  • 2 tablespoons Red Onion, Chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Cilantro, Chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced

Step 2

Combine all guacamole ingredients in a blender or food processor. Pulse on and off until mixture is well blended, but still slightly lumpy. Spread over bean mixture.


  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 cup Low-Fat Sour Cream, (thick), The Third Layer (Sour Creamy Stuff):

Step 3

Combine sour cream and onion powder. Spoon over guacamole and spread evenly.


  • 1 cup Salsa, (preferably chunky), The Fourth Layer (Simple and Spicy):

Step 4

Pour salsa evenly over sour cream. Spread to sides of pie plate.


  • 12 cup Shredded Reduced-Fat Cheddar Cheese, (2 ounces), The Top Layer (Cheesy Decorations):
  • 14 cup Green Onion, chopped
  • 1 bag Baked Tortilla Chips, (7 ounces)

Step 5

Sprinkle cheese over salsa and top with green onions. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving. Serve with baked tortilla chips.
