Easy Fruit Salad

  • 2 Apples, cored, peeled, & sliced
  • 12 teaspoon Cinnamon, (optional)
  • 2 Oranges, peeled and sliced or segmented
  • 2 Bananas, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Currants
  • 14 cup Orange or Apple Juice, (optional)

Step 1

Toss apples with cinnamon in a large bowl until evenly coated. Add oranges and bananas. Add currants and juice, and mix well. The currants in this salad are used to increase the concentration of fruit sugar. Since fruit is sometimes less sweet than we’d like, adding currants makes the salad more energizing. Serves 2.
