Easy Tomato Sauce

Easy tomato sauce made from San Marzano canned tomatoes.



  • 8 cans Canned San Marzano Tomatoes, 28 oz each

Step 1

In large bowl, crush tomatoes by hand or with a potato masher.


  • 12 cup Olive Oil
  • 8 cloves Garlic, crushed

Step 2

Heat a large saucepan with oil over medium heat. Cook garlic gently, 3-4 minutes, being careful not to burn it.

Step 3

Add tomatoes to saucepan in four portions, waiting for each batch to come to simmer before adding more.


  • 4 leaves Fresh Basil, ripped

Step 4

Lower heat. Add basil. Simmer 45 minutes.
