Filet Mignon W/Rich Balsamic Glaze

  • 2 Filet Mignon, 4oz each
  • 12 teaspoon Freshly Ground Pepper
  • Salt, to taste

Step 1

Sprinkle freshly ground pepper over both sides of each steak, sprinkle with salt, to taste.


  • 14 cup Balsamic Vinegar
  • 14 cup Dry Red Wine

Step 2

Heat skillet over medium-high heat. Place steaks in hot pan, cook for 1 minute per side, or until browned. Reduce heat to medium-low, add balsamic vinegar and red wine. Cover and cook 4 minutes on each side, basting with sauce when you turn the meat over.

Step 3

Remove steaks to two warmed plates, spoon 1 Tbsp of glaze over each steak, serve immediately.
