Freezer Burritos

  • 1 jar Salsa, 16 oz
  • 1 can Ranch or Refried Beans, 16 oz
  • 1 envelope Taco Seasoning
  • 1 can Chopped Green Chilis, 4 oz, drained
  • 12 cup Water
  • 3 cups Chicken or Beef, cooked and shredded

Step 1

In a large skillet or saucepan, combine meat, salsa, beans, chilis, seasoning and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered for 5 minutes or until heated through.


  • 16 large Flour Tortilla, warmed
  • 2 cups Colby Jack Cheese, shredded

Step 2

Spoon about 1/3 to 1/2 cup off center in each tortilla. Top with some cheese. Fold edge of tortilla nearest filling over to cover. Fold ends of tortilla over filling and roll up. Wrap individually in aluminum foil. Freeze for up to 2 months.

Step 3

To reheat - if frozen, place packets on baking sheet. Bake at 350 50 minutes or until heated through. If thawed, bake 25-30 minutes.
