Garlic Butter Mushroom Stuffed Chicken

Directions

 

Step 1

PREHEAT OVEN TO 400.

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 8 ounces Fresh Mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 cloves Minced Garlic
  • 1 Salt and Pepper, too taste
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley, chopped

Step 2

Melt butter in 12" oven proof skillet over med heat.Add garlic and suate until fragrant (about 1 min). Add in mushrooms, salt and pepper and parsley. Cook while stirring occasionaly until soft. Set aside snf slloe to cool while preparing chicken.

Ingredients

  • 4 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1 Salt and Pepper, too taste
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Parsley Flakes

Step 3

Oat your breasts dry using a paper towel. Season with salt,papper,onion powder adn dried parsley. Rub each piece to evenly coat in seasoning.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices Mozzarella Cheese

Step 4

Horizontally slice a slit through the thickest part of each breast to form a pocket. Place 2 slices of mozzarella into each pocket.

  • 14 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese

Step 5

Fill each breast with the mushroom mixture. If there are some mushrooms left dont worry. Top the mushrooms with 1 tbsp parmesan cheese. Seal with 2 -3 toothpicks near the openiong to keep the mixture in the chicken while cooking.
 

Step 6

Heat the pan used to cook the mushrooms were in along with the pan juices. Add chicken and sear until golden. Flip and sear on the other side until golden brown. Cover pan and continue cooking in preheated oven for a further20 minutes, or until completely cooked through.
