Garlic Cheddar Drop Biscuits

Step 1

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Grease a baking sheet with cooking spray.


  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
  • 12 teaspoon Kosher Salt

Step 2

Whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, garlic powder and salt in a large bowl.


  • 12 cup Unsalted Butter, cut into small cubes and chilled
  • 1 12 cups Cube of Sharp Cheddar, freshly grated
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Curly Parsley, minced
  • 1 14 cups Buttermilk

Step 3

Add butter to mixture and use a pastry cutter to blend until the mixture resembles a coarse meal. Stir in cheese and parsley. Add buttermilk and stir until just combined.


  • Sea Salt

Step 4

Use a large ice cream scoop to drop biscuits onto the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with flakey sea salt. Bake until golden brown, 15-18 minutes. Serve immediately.
