Garlic Knots

Garlic Knots

Directions

 

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Lightly coat 2 baking sheets with nonstick cooking spray.

Ingredients

  • Flour, for dusting
  • 1 pound Pizza Dough

Step 2

Dust a clean surface lightly with flour. Place the pizza dough on the work surface and sprinkle the top with flour. Roll the dough into an 18x18 rectangle. using a pizza wheel, cut the dough crosswise into 18 1' wide strips, then cut each strip in half. Tie each strip into a double knot and place on the greased baking sheets. Bake, rotating the sheets once halfway through, until the knots are golden brown, 20-25 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons Butter, melted
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Oregano, finely minced
  • Kosher Salt
  • Pepper

Step 3

White the knots are baking, heat the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the garlic, parsley, oregano and some salt and pepper. Cook until the butter is melted, about 2 minutes. Let cool slightly.

Ingredients

  • 14 cup Grated Parmesan

Step 4

Remove the knots from the oven and transfer to a large bowl. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the top and sprinkle with parmesan. Toss to coat.
