Directions

Ingredients

  • Butter

Step 1

Place 2-3 tablespoons butter (or spray it with non-stick spray if you don't want the additional fat--this is one dish I "splurge" on!) or butter substitute into a 9x13 inch casserole dish. Place the dish in the oven at 375 degrees before you begin making the batter, to allow the butter to melt, or the dish to heat up nicely.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour, (if you are slowly making the change to wheat flour, you can use 1/2 whole wheat flour, and 1/2 organic white flour, so it's not as "dense" a dish)
  • 1 cup Non-Fat Milk
  • 12 cup Honey, Or other sweetener (agave, xylitol, etc)
  • 7 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt

Step 2

Mix all the ingredients together thoroughly. Pour into the large casserole dish with the melted butter/hot sprayed dish. Return to oven. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until nicely browned and a knife inserted comes out clean.

Ingredients

  • Strawberries, sliced

Step 3

Serve with sliced berries (strawberries are our favorite!) and a sprinkle of sugar substitute, honey, and or/a little cinnamon or nutmeg.
