Grilled Bacon-wrapped Shrimp

Anything wrapped in Bacon is a good thing... especially shrimp.



  • 9 slices Bacon

Step 1

Cut slices of bacon in half and partially cook over moderate heat to render some of the fat.


  • 12 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 12 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 12 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 12 teaspoon Ground Lemon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 4 tablespoons Butter, melted
  • 18 Jumbo Shrimp, shelled and deveined

Step 2

Combine butter with spices, add shrimp, and toss well to coat. Let marinate at room temperature 30-60 minutes.

Step 3

Remove shrimp from the marinade, reserving the marinade.

Step 4

Wrap 1/2 slice of bacon around each shrimp and secure with toothpick. Place shrimp on hot grill for 4 minutes; turn and brush with reserved marinade and grill for 4 more minutes or until shrimp are opaque throughout.
