Ground Beef & Sausage Chili

spicy chicken & sausage chili



  • 1 12 pounds Ground Beef
  • 8 ounces Smoked Sausage, such as andouille or apple chicken sausage
  • 1 cup Onion, chopped

Step 1

In a large skillet or saute pan, brown the ground beef & sausage with onion until meat is no longer pink. Add the bell pepper & garlic and cook, stirring for about 1 minute longer.


  • 1 Red Bell Pepper, red or green, chopped
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic
  • 4 ounces Canned Mild Green Chili Peppers
  • 2 tablespoons Jalapeno Pepper, diced, or to taste
  • 14 12 ounces Canned Diced Tomatoes
  • 8 ounces Tomato Sauce, canned
  • 15 ounces Canned Black Beans, drained & rinsed
  • 1 tablespoon Grill Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Chili Powder, 2 or 3 tbsp to taste
  • 12 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 14 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Salt, or to taste

Step 2

Transfer to the slow cooker & add remaining ingredients; cover & cook on low for 6-8 hours.
