Hawaiian Chicken

  • 4 Chicken Breasts, bone/skinless
  • Salt, to taste
  • 15 ounces Pineapple Slices, canned, juice reserved

Step 1

For cooking in the Crock Pot: Place chicken in slow cooker sprayed with cooking spray and sprinkle with a little salt. Place pineapple slices over chicken.


  • 13 cup Brown Sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 14 teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 14 cup Cornstarch

Step 2

In a small bowl, combine pineapple juice, brown sugar, lemon juice, ginger and cornstarch. Stir until combined. Pour over chicken. Cover and cook on LOW for 4-5 hours or on HIGH for 2 1/2 - 3 hours. Serve over rice.

Step 3

For cooking in the oven: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Follow instructions above. Cover and cook for 20-30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
