Heirloom Caprese Salad

Perfect light, late summer salad when heirloom tomatoes are in season. Enjoyable with steak because there's always extra balsamic and olive oil to soak up with steak.



  • 1 Heirloom Tomato, large, sliced into 1/4" slices
  • 34 pound Buffalo Mozzarella, sliced into 1/4" slices
  • 20 leaves Fresh Basil

Step 1

Slice tomato and mozzarella. Arrange on plates. Garnish with basil leaves.


  • 8 tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
  • 8 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Step 2

Drizzle vinegar and olive oil. Refrigerate if desired before serving.
