Instant Pot Smothered Pork Chops

  • 4 Pork Loin Chops Bone-in
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • 12 teaspoon Fine Sea Salt
  • 14 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper

Step 1

Sprinkle both sides of prok chops with salt,pepper and thyme.


  • 1 12 tablespoons Avocado Oil

Step 2

Set pot to saute and add avocado oil. heat ubtil screen reads "hot". Sear chops for 2-3 minutes to each side to brown. remove to a plate.


  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic
  • 23 cup Fresh Mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 slices Bacon, chopped

Step 3

While pot is still hot add chopped bacon, minced garlic and sliced mushrooms. Saute for 3-4 minutes until garlic is softening and bacon is browning.


  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 12 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 12 teaspoon Garlic Powder

Step 4

Add beef broth to deglaze the pot scraping all the brown pieces off the bottom. Stir in the onion and garlic powder and turn off the pot.

Step 5

Add pork chops back to pot and secure the lid. Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes let pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then quick release the remaining pressure.

Step 6

Remove and plate the pork chops.


  • 12 cup Heavy Cream

Step 7

Select saute and heat until bubbling. Add the heavy cream to the sauce and stir. Continue to heat the sauce until bubbling. Pour the sauce over the pork chops.
