This is one of my favorite ways to grill chicken. Be aware it is a bit spicy.

Step 1
Put first 11 ingredients into a food processor and mix on high for 15 pulses. This is the Jamaican Jerk Rum Rub.

Rub the chicken with lime and pinch of salt. Rub jerk seasoning over chicken halves and marinate in the refrigerator, overnight for the best results. Preheat a barbecue grill to medium high. Grill the chicken for about 45 minutes, turning often to optimize cooking and browning. Let chicken rest for 10 minutes before cutting into quarters.
