Maple Bacon Popcorn

  • 12 slices Bacon

Step 1

Cook bacon over medium until crisp. rain on a paper towel and crumble. Save 1/4 cup of grease. Add vegetable oil if needed.


  • 34 cup Popcorn

Step 2

Pour bacon fat into stockpot. over medium heat Add a fewpopcorn kernels, when they begin to sizzle, add the remaining kernels and shake to coat in oil. Cover the pot and cook, shaking frequently, until popping has almost stopped, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and keep covered.


  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 3 tablespoons Pure Maple Syrup

Step 3

In Bacon skillet melt butter and maple syrup over medium low, stir to loosen the browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Stir in the crombled bacon then pour over popcorn. Toss well to coat all of the kernels. sprinkle with salt and toss again. Serve immediately.
