Mark's Mom's Goulash

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.


  • 1 pound Ground Round
  • 12 cup Onion, chopped

Step 2

In a large skillet, saute ground round and onions, breaking apart the beef with a spoon, until beef is cooked through and onions are tender. Drain.


  • 16 ounces Canned Stewed Tomatoes
  • 10 12 ounces Canned Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 12 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 12 can French Fried Onions, small size can
  • 2 cups Elbow Macaroni Pasta, uncooked

Step 3

Add tomatoes, cream of mushroom soup, cheddar cheese, french fried onions and uncooked macaroni to the beef and onions. Stir to combine, breaking up the tomatoes with the spoon.

Step 4

Pour mixture into a large casserole dish.

Step 5

Bake for about 30 minutes or until browned on top.
