Mary's Pistachio & White Chocolate Cookies

Mary's Pistachio & White Chocolate Cookies



Step 1

Increase oven temp to 375 degrees.


  • 1 14 cups Brown Sugar, firmly packed
  • 34 cup Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract

Step 2

Beat at medium speed until well blended.


  • 1 Egg

Step 3

Add egg and beat well.


  • 1 34 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 34 teaspoon Baking Soda

Step 4

Combine Flour, Salt & Baking Soda. Add to to mix, beating at low just until blended.


  • 1 cup White Chocolate Chips, or chunks
  • 1 cup Pistachios, shelled, and roasted at 350 degrees for 7-10 minutes, stirring frequently. place in kitchen and rub to remove skin. chop coarsely and set aside

Step 5

Stir in White Chocolate Chips and Roasted Pistachios.

Step 6

Drop cookie batter by the teaspoonful on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes for chewy cookies or 11 to 13 for crisp cookies. Cool.
