Meat Lovers Lasagna

Freezer Friendly: Cut cooked, cooled lasagna into serving portions & freeze in a freezer container. Reheat from frozen on medium heat in the microwave until the lasagna is heated through.

Directions

 

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 13x9 bakign dish with nonstick spray.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 12 pound Italian Sausage
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 1 clove Minced Garlic

Step 2

Cook the ground beef, sausage, onion and garlic in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking up the meat as it cooks, for 6 minutes, or until meat is brown and crumbly. Lower the heat to medium.

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces Tomato Paste
  • 43 12 ounces Diced Tomatoes, undrained
  • 2 teaspoons Dried Basil
  • 2 teaspoons Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 12 teaspoon Pepper

Step 3

Add the tomato paste, diced tomatoes with liquid, basil, oregano, salt and pepper and cook for another 10 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Ricotta Cheese
  • 2 Grated Mozzarella Cheese
  • 2 Eggs

Step 4

Mix the ricotta, mozzarella and eggs in a medium bowl.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Lasagna Noodles, uncooked
  • 2 cups Grated Mozzarella Cheese

Step 5

Spread a quarter of the meat sauce into the prepared pan. Layer the uncooked noodles, meat sauce and ricotta mixture. Repeat for the next 2 layers. Finish with pasta, sauce and the remaining mozzarella. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour, or until pasta is tender and the cheese is bubbling.
