Mediterranean Black Olive and Walnut Tapenade

  • 1 cup Greek Olives, or black nicoise olives
  • 12 cup Walnuts, ground
  • 1 clove Garlic, crushed
  • 3 tablespoons Capers
  • 1 tablespoon Flax Seed Oil, or Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 teaspoons Oregano, crushed
  • 14 teaspoon Dried Ground Thyme
  • 14 teaspoon Dried Ground Basil

Step 1

Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor and pulse, removing the lid several times to scrape the sides with a spatula. The mixture should be smooth but not totally pureed.
