Mexican twist on an Italian favorite.

Directions

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Lean Ground Beef

Step 1

Heat oven to 400F. In skillet brown beef over high heat and then drain.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Fine Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 12 teaspoons Ground Cumin
  • 12 teaspoon Paprika
  • 14 teaspoon Dried Ground Oregano
  • 14 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
  • 14 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 14 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Chili Powder
  • 14 cup Shredded Mexican Blend Cheese
  • 1 cup Water

Step 2

Stir in seasonings, water, and cheese, heat to boiling stirring occasionally; reduce heat to medium-high. Simmer for 5 minutes or until cheese is thoroughly melted, stirring occasionally

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces Chili Beans, Bush's Hot brand, drain excess fluid

Step 3

Add beans heat until warm

Ingredients

  • 4 Flour Tortillas, 8 inch
  • 1 cup Shredded Mexican Blend Cheese
  • 16 ounces Canned Medium Tomato Salsa, jarred, thick and chunky style

Step 4

In a 2 quart casserole dish layer with 1 tortilla 1/4 of the salsa, meat/bean mixture and cheese. Repeat layering until cheese is the top
 

Step 5

Cover with foil and bake 20 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve
