Mom's Quick And Easy Homemade Stuffing

Quick and easy homemade stuffing. Way more flavor than something out of a box.

Directions

 

Step 1

Preheat over to 350 degrees.

Ingredients

  • 10 Whole Wheat Bread, toasted. if you have other old/stale bread you can substitute that.

Step 2

Toast bread and let it sit.

Ingredients

  • 12 package Onion Soup Mix
  • 1 cup Hot Water

Step 3

Add Lipton's Onion Soup mix to water and let sit.

Ingredients

  • 12 Red Bell Pepper, diced
  • 4 Celery, chopped
  • 12 small White Onion, diced
  • 13 Rotisserie Chicken, all white meat, shredded and diced
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 small Apple, diced

Step 4

Saute until onions start to brown.
 

Step 5

Crumble the bread into small pieces.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Chicken Base
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth

Step 6

Mix chicken broth and base together until the chicken base is dissolved.
 

Step 7

Pour onion soup mixture over the bread. Add the sautéed veggie mixture and salt and pepper. Add the chicken broth/base mixture over the top as well.

Ingredients

  • 1 Egg, beaten

Step 8

Add the egg to the mixture and stir well.
 

Step 9

Cook in oven for about an hour or at the desired level of wetness.
