My Mom's Fudge

Makes an 8 x 8 pan.



Step 1

Prepare an 8 x 8, or similar size pan, by lining it with foil and giving the foil a generous spray with cooking spray. The foil makes it easy to remove from the pan when time to serve.


  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 23 cups White Sugar
  • 12 teaspoon Salt
  • 23 cup Evaporated Milk

Step 2

In a large saucepan over medium-low heat, combine butter, sugar, salt and evaporated milk. Bring to a boil and cook 4-5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.


  • 2 cups Mini Marshmallows
  • 1 12 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract

Step 3

Stir in marshmallows, chocolate chips and vanilla. Stir until chips and marshmallows have melted.


  • 12 cup Chopped Nuts, optional

Step 4

Stir in nuts, if using.

Step 5

Working quickly, pour fudge into prepared pan. Refrigerate until firm.

Step 6

To serve, lift foil and fudge out of pan. Peel away foil and cut into serving size pieces.
