Simple but very delicious. Amazing with just jam.

  • 1 14 cups Buttermilk, Warmed to 80-90 F
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 12 teaspoons Unsalted Butter, cut into 1/2 inch pieces at room temp.
  • 1 12 tablespoons Maple Syrup
  • 1 14 cups Bread Flour
  • 2 12 cups White Whole Wheat Flour
  • 2 14 teaspoons Dry Active Yeast

Step 1

Place buttermilk, salt, butter, maple syrup, bread flour, whole wheat flour, and yeast, in order listed, in the bread pan fitted with the kneading paddle.

Step 2

Place bread pan in the breadmaker and set to whole wheat. Select the desired crust (medium) or to taste. Press loaf and select dough size. Press start to mix, knead, rise and bake.

  • 1 cup Mixed Nuts, and seeds, (ie. Walnuts, pecans, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds)

Step 3

When Mix-in's tone sounds, add nuts and seeds. When pause signal sounds, remove dough and kneading paddle if desired, reshape dough and place in bread pan. Press Start to continue.

Step 4

When cycle is completed, remove bread from machine and transfer to wire rack to cool. Bread slices best when allowed to cool.
