Oyster Stew

Simple, creamy oyster stew.



  • 5 tablespoons Butter

Step 1

Warm serving bowls. Add a pat of butter to each bowl. Keep bowls warm while prepping stew.


  • 1 12 pints Shelled Pacific Oyster, with the oyster liquor
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 cups Heavy Cream

Step 2

Heat milk, cream, and oyster liquor to boiling point. Add oysters and return to boiling point.


  • 12 teaspoon Fine Sea Salt, to taste
  • 12 teaspoon Fine Ground Black Pepper, to taste
  • 1 pinch Cayenne Pepper, to taste

Step 3

Season to taste.


  • 4 tablespoons Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • 3 cups Soup and Oyster Crackers

Step 4

Ladle into bowls and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately with oyster crackers.
