Peach Pound Cake

Directions

 

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350
 

Step 2

Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan. Set aside

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter, softened
  • 3 cups Sugar

Step 3

In large mixing bowl beat butter and sugar well, until very light ad fluffy

Ingredients

  • 6 Eggs

Step 4

Beating well after each addtion add one Egg at a time

Ingredients

  • 3 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 14 teaspoon Salt
  • 14 teaspoon Baking Soda

Step 5

In a separate bowl combine flour, soda, and salt.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Peach, peeled, chopped
  • 12 cup Sour Cream

Step 6

In a separate bowl combine peaches and sour cream
 

Step 7

Beginning and ending with dry ingredients, alternately add dry ingredients and sour cream-peach mixture. Beat well after each addition.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Almond Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Step 8

Stir in in extracts
 

Step 9

Pour batter into prepared pan and bake until cake tests done, 75 - 80 minutes. Cool slightly, remove from pan and cool completely.
