Peanut Butter Truffle Brownies

Peanut Butter Truffle Brownies

Directions

 

Step 1

Heat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease bottom only of 9x13 pan.

Ingredients

  • 2 boxes Brownie Mix, betty crocker original supreme
  • Water, as directed on brownie mix for both boxes
  • Vegetable Oil, as directed on brownie mix for both boxes
  • Egg, as directed on brownie mix for both boxes

Step 2

In medium bowl, stir together both brownie mixes, both pouches of chocolate syrup (included in the box of brownie mix), water, oil and eggs until well blended. Spread evenly into prepared pan.
 

Step 3

Bake 45-55 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean.
 

Step 4

COOL completely, about 1 hour.

Ingredients

  • 12 cup Butter, softened
  • 12 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 2 teaspoons Milk
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar

Step 5

Beat butter, peanut butter and milk with electric mixer on medium speed until blended. Gradually add powdered sugar and mix until smooth.
 

Step 6

Spread mixture evenly over cooled brownie base. NOTE: I found that using my fingers worked better than a spoon.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 14 cup Butter

Step 7

In small bowl, microwave the chocolate chips and butter uncovered on High 30-60 seconds; stir until smooth.
 

Step 8

Cool 10 minutes; spread over peanut butter filling.
 

Step 9

Refrigerate about 30 minutes or until set.
 

Step 10

Cut small as these are very rich...9 rows by 4 rows.
 

Step 11

NOTE: Store covered in refrigerator.
