Pecan Pie

It can't be this easy, can it?



Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.


  • 1 Pie Crust Dough

Step 2

Roll out pie crust and line 9" pie pan, then freeze until ready to fill.


  • 2 12 cups Pecan Halves

Step 3

Coarsely chop 1 1/4 cups of pecans; set aside.


  • 4 Eggs
  • 14 cup Sugar
  • 14 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Dark Corn Syrup
  • 12 cup Light Corn Syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter, melted and cooled
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 14 teaspoon Salt

Step 4

In a medium bowl, combine eggs, sugar, and brown sugar. Whisk together, then add dark and light corn syrups, butter, vanilla, and salt. Add chopped pecans and stir to combine. Pour into prepared pie crust.

Step 5

Arrange remaining 1 1/4 cups of pecan halves decoratively on top of pie. Bake on a Silpat-lined baking sheet until crust is golden, fillin is firm and toothpick inserted into center of pie comes out clean (approx. 50-55 min).

Step 6

Cool completely before slicing.
