Pesto Chicken Crescent Ring

Pesto Chicken Crescent Ring

This can be done with taco meat & cheese, spicy italian, chicken pot pie, ham and cheese, eggs & ham, etc.



  • 3 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts

Step 1

Boil chicken until cooked through. Remove from water and either shred or dice.

Step 2

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray large cookie sheet with cooking spray.


  • 13 cup Basil Pesto
  • 1 cup Shredded Monterey Jack

Step 3

Mix cooked chicken, pesto and cheese. Set aside.


  • 2 cans Crescent Rolls

Step 4

Unroll both cans of dough; separate into 16 triangles. Arrange triangles in ring so sides of triangles form a 5-inch circle in the center (see photo). Dough will overlap and look like a sun.

Step 5

Spoon chicken mixture on the half of each rectangle closest to the center of the ring (see photo).

Step 6

Bring each triangle up over filling, tucking dough under the bottom layer of dough to secure it. Repeat around ring until entire filling is enclosed. Some filling might show a little.


  • 1 tablespoon Basil Pesto

Step 7

Brush remaining pesto on top of dough right. Bake 18-22 minutes or until dough is golden brown and thoroughly baked. Cool 5 - 10 minutes before cutting into serving slices.
